Sapang Dalaga

One of the most visited sites during Holy Week in Misamis Occidental and nearby areas is the Christ the Redeemer Shrine in Sapang Dalaga town where you can find a 60-foot replica of the famed Christ the Redeemer of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Located atop a hill in Barangay Caluya, it overlooks Murcielagos Bay and Dioyo River. On a clear day, you can also view Mount Malindang.
